We Will Remember Them
Every month, from August 2014
until November 2018, Mary produced
a display board in the Warminster
Public Library, charting the progress
of the Great War, 1914-1918.
On a table in front of the display
board was a Book of Remembrance
which listed every known serviceman
from Warminster and the surrounding
villages who lost his life in this conflict.
This book gave a profile of every man,
his service record and some detail
about his life before the war started.
People have discovered previously
unknown family details from some of
these profiles.
The book was the result of detailed
research by Colin Taylor and lists
512 Servicemen
The Book of Remembrance has now
been published by:
